He laughs uproariously, slapping his knee in amusement. He grabs his gear and heads out.

EXT. THORNBURY SEWERS – DAY

Arriving at the entrance to Thornbury’s sewer system, Steven squints into the camera, serious for the first time. He takes a moment to adjust his headlamp before speaking again.

STEVEN

As a father, one thing I’ve learned is that kids will surprise you, just when you least expect it. For the past few weeks, Timmy has done an excellent job of keeping his glasses intact. But much to our relief, he seemed to finally grasp the importance of caring for his belongings.
